A post I don't have time to do justice...
Okay, typing fast here, forgive typos. ;) I have to get to class soon...

deadmanwade - damn him for beating me to this - and thank lots of people for nice stuff they've done. It's so appreciated! drake_rocket gave me an awesome shirt (which I'm wearing right now) which demonstrates that I do in fact heart Drizzt...arekin and Wally (who I'm sure has an LJ but whose user name I don't know) gave us an awesome backpack, spiffy lucky dice, and some CD's, and gollumgollum gave us some CD's, which deadmanwade has already copied to his computer, and I will be copying tonight. Thanks so so much everyone!!
This weekend was pretty fun. I've already commented on the awesomeness of Friday night. I spent Saturday working, and then went and played D&D, and I agree withdeadmanwade's sentiment that we are all going to die but what the hey...I especially liked having it pointed out that, given that I worship Tymora, the best way to make a difficult decision was to leave it to chance - and I was happy that chance picked what I wanted OOC anyway...(it's hard to decide whether to stay a werewolf or not. You'd think this would be an obvious choice - who'd want to STAY a werewolf, as they are in D&D? - but it wasn't easy at all...) ...I also like not DYING, cause god that was close...
Sunday was devoted to working, though not as much as I had intended it to be. I did some work work, then I did some school work - churned out a 10 page paper, which I realized the question was problematic for, e-mailed the professor, and found out that I need to add stuff to, which is bad, because the page limit is strict, and I've only got like a half page left, I think I'll have to cut stuff, which I hate doing, grrr.drake_rocket then came over, and while I managed to resist the allure of hanging out with people for several hours and continue working, I eventually surrendered and went and hung out, watch people play Smash Brothers, eat yummy calzone's, get ice cream, and then get a surprise visit from danielmc, sapphohestia and gollumgollum which was much fun. I love hanging out with people. Also, there are so many great, awesome people in Bloomington, and I love getting the opportunity to get to know more of them. Meeting people isn't easy - I was so worried when we moved here that we'd literally meet no one in three years, and we'd end up miserable and lonely - but it's been so much fun and so great and I feel so lucky....
