Well...

Well, reading through LJ, I see that [livejournal.com profile] deadmanwade has pretty much covered the things that I might have said, accurately and fairly. For those who don't read both journals, I broke up with him yesterday, and since then we've spoken a lot and have decided to basically go for a "temporary separation." I'll move out of Knightridge and go...somewhere...and we'll tackle things from the perspectives we've gained by talking through this mess, and see if things can't be fixed. Things are still messy, but I, too, am hopeful that our current plans will work out. We both have things we are going to try to do to help to repair the problems that prompted this decision on my part, and then we'll just take it from there and see how things go. If it was worth putting 5 years into, it's worth working to fix.

I'm currently staying at [livejournal.com profile] buzzermccain's house, but I need to find a place to live myself on a fairly immediate level, since I won't feel comfortable until I have a place to call "home." I'll probably start looking tomorrow, but I need to get a handle on my school work, which is way tough with all the stuff going on in my head right now.

Life, inevitably, has a way of going on.

The fact that no one has been choosing sides (as far as I can tell) has been one of the most reassuring things about this entire situation for me. :) I owe all ya a huge thank you for that one! One I'll probably repeat in a later post when I'm less sleepy. :)

this is really not a group to take sides. All the break-ups I've seen(including ones I've been involved in) have been ultimately amicable outside the participants.
If you need anything, just let me know.

Thanks. :) And it's a good way for a group to be; it makes it easier for everyone to know that social lives won't get ruined in addition to everything else that is part of a situation like this one.
