Stupid Dayquil

I am sick. Grrr. I haven't been sick in over a year (though I normally get sick a lot, especially in winter)...I have a slight cough, a bit of a runny nose, but my main symptom is muscle aches - maddening, because that's one of the few symptoms that really causes me a lot of problems right now, given my vehicular challenges. I went to the internship in the morning, but I slept poorly cause I kept waking up, and I took Dayquil and it didn't help the muscle aches even a little, so I'm home for the rest of the day now. I don't really know why I'm posting this. I think I just wanted to complain a little bit. :) I'm going to get some sleep now.

Sleep is good.

I highly recommend Ibuprofin for the aches and an antihistamine like Claritin for the runny nose.

I'll have to pick up some Aspirin in the morning...Aspirin usually works very well on me (whereas Tylenol and other acetiminophen products do diddly squat...)
