Well, it's been a busy few days (when isn't it a busy few days? I wonder...)...thought I'd do a general update type thingy.

Saturday I ran a bunch of errands that I'd been putting off, which resulted in a rather horrifying quantity of money going *poof*, though I was paid back for a large chunk of it, which was rather nice. The upside was that now

saracariad and I are the proud co-owners of a washer and a dryer. Yay clean clothes! They are so shiny and happy, it makes me glad. As do my clean socks. :) I also picked up a new dance pad for DDR, because mine was starting to break, and a few other odds and ends.

That evening I met up with

closet_gnome and

buzzermccain and we had a yummy pancake dinner, and later

saracariad,

dyrecorn and I watched Clue, which she's been trying to show me for a year. It was cute. :)

Then, since I got thoroughly soaked while walking the dog anyway, I went and played out in the rain a bit. There's nothing quite like playing in a downpour, not caring about the wetness, and then coming in and taking a nice long hot bath...(happy sigh)

Sunday was the Aberrant game primarily, though I did some other random stuff in the morning. We decided the future, and I managed to navigate myself into a position that I think will cause me much less stress. As much as I was enjoying being the head of the FBI (and I really was enjoying it...) I just didn't have the time. Things will be better now, I'd say. Then went to dinner at Longhorn with folk, which was nice, and came home and relaxed a bit.

Monday wasn't actually all that interesting; I mostly worked. Went to Tango though, which was spiffy - even though I very stupidly threw my ankle out badly yesterday morning (the fricken thing still hurts, grrrr) so I couldn't dance for more than an hour or so. After that, I hung out with

buzzermccain and we chatted and ran a scene. Oh, the bad feelings I have about next Changeling game just keeeep multiplying. :)

I knew I forgot something. :) So I finally finally got the new video card for my work computer...only to discover (upon having

dyrecorn attempt installation for me) that this is not in fact the problem with the computer. No, no, that'd be way too easy. It appears likely now that something is wrong with the mother board. God I'm sick of this stinkin' laptop, but I guess it's going to have to do for a bit longer...

Today has been spent working; my first class starts in less than an hour. I've already managed to forget which room it was in, I need to look that up again. :) Stupid evening classes...
