It's been a busy, busy few days!

Friday I spent the day working, and in the evening I met up with

closet_gnome, her husband, and

buzzermccain and made pasta dinner and watched the first 3 episodes of Firefly. Someone apparently finally decided that it was time to take me in hand on the Firefly issue (seeing as how I'd not seen it, and despite everyone saying I aughta it never quite happened). It was a nice evening. I didn't fall in love with the show, but I am enjoying it and am curious about will happen next. We're getting together again a few Friday's from now (after the interlude and BAPA) and will be watching more; I expect spiffiness. Though

buzzermccain pointed out the ways that Kaylee is like Kathryn (or Kathryn is like Kaylee?) and it's been hurting my sould ever since...

Saturday was insanely busy. I got up early and met up with

closet_gnome and we walked our dogs down this very nice path (it was about a 4 1/2 mile walk)...the dogs seemed to get along, though as always Jonie has this idea that she aughta be trying to establish her dominance over other dogs, even though she's completely submissive...the trail wsa nice, the weather was beautiful, over all it was spiffy. Then I raced home, worked out (my most calorie DDR run yet, at 560 in an hour...) and then started baking in preparation for

khaoskitty's tea party, which was very nice. Talking to

buzzermccain and

miraeko, I think we're going to try to get some fun "fall activities" set up, like apple picking, and I'm already looking forward to it, I love fall! :)
Raced home after that, spent a little over a half hour braiding my hair, picked out an outfit, and then headed back to Knightridge for the dance party extravaganza. All in all, it was a great party. I danced soooo much, people were really into it,

drydem made a great playlist...the one thing that brought me down a little was that girls kept coming in who in the dark reminded me of

sapphohestia, and I was like, no, it can't be...it was sad. :( You were missed!! :(
Got to bed at 4 AM. Loooong day.

Well, I didn't get in Sunday or yesterday, but I can't in fact type fast enough - I have to get back to the new part time job over at ALF (go gaining conservation experience, go! :) ). More later, though probably not, I have to write a paper when I get home then go to class. ;) Ahh, the semester...
