Disappointing but Not Surprising...

After months of delay, the Education Department has finally released the winners of that grant I wrote in March/April, the Early Childhood one that I babbled about a bit at the time. They only gave out three in the entire country (instead of the 4 - 6 they said they were going to give) - two went to universities, and one to some consortium in Rhode Island. Oh well.

We haven't gotten the reviewer comments yet; I'll consider it a win if we did pretty well on those...I'm still a little disappointed, it'd have been awesome if we'd won, but I didn't really think we would. ;)

That's too bad -- but I'm sure you did the best you could with the material you had to work with... sounds super-competitive.
