Another One Done

Well, I finished my paper. It ended up 11 pages long. It's been another busy week, but I have little blame to place except on myself and my current horrible procrastination. Step dance was fun; I got to trot in horseback riding today (that was quick!) and I got my reading and such done. The procrastination is not like me, though, it's rather freaking me out. I get to confront it head on first thing in the morning, though, because I need to get ahead in my school work before mom gets here next Friday. :)

Don Giovanni was really good. Some of the singing was a little soft, and the superscripts weren't as thorough as I might have liked, but I'm glad I went. I particularly liked the costuming. "Modified Rapture" and "Hey look, an idiot!" now have company, too: "My heart is aflame with love!" "Mine is already in ashes!" gets to join my "favorite quotes." :)

Changeling is still eating my brain.

I like jello.

I'm going to bed. :)

I still like the translation of that "let me heal you" song, where the girl who sings the "beat me, beat me, my sweet husband" song later sings to him "Touch me in this special place / so that you can taste the sweet healing love elixir / that I keep hidden inside my body." Did I get that right?
