Halloween Party

As one or two people already know, I have apparently volunteered to host a Halloween Party (with saracariad's cooperation). I'm still working out the details. The big question is when?

October 27th (Friday): I could hold it Friday night. I know of no conflicts.
October 28th (Saturday): My prefered night, Saturday's are good party nights. However, I have the bad feeling this will conflict with the OWbN Bloomington game. Anyone know for sure?
October 29th (Sunday): Sunday's aren't good for parties - people work the next day. And it conflicts with Aberrant.
October 30th (Monday): Probably the worst choice...
October 31st (Tuesday): A weeknight, but has the plus of ACTUALLY BEING HALLOWEEN. ;)

Here's the point of this post: I WANT YOUR OPINIONS! I want to pick the night that works the best for the most people. So LET ME KNOW! And it'll be that night!

Other notes:
-The party will be bring your own alcohol of choice; I'll supply a little, but not much seeing as how neither saracariad or I drink.
-Costumes not required; that said, for those who want a costume, think they are going to come, and don't have any ideas yet, I'm thinking a literary theme (seeing as how my costume will be literary...) ;)

Edit: Based on the initial response, I'm currently leaning strongly towards Friday, October 27th. Any additional thoughts?

Kasi and I will be busy Saturday night, so the 28th is out for us. Other than that, I don't think there are any immediate conflicts with any of the other dates.

I know that the Steeles have a Halloween party on Saturday the 28th, and that there is NOT a Bloomington OWbN game that night (they are playign this weekend instead).

I'd love to come hang out and just be sociable, but none of those dates will work for me and Mike. I sometimes wish I lived in Bloomington for the option of just being able to hang out and watch movies or shoot the shit or whatever.

There's an English dept party on Friday that I'll have to attend at least for a bit and a bunch o' parties on Saturday. Friday's definitely free-er, from what I can see.

I could probably make any of those nights, although it's been a really insane last couple of weeks, so not sure how long I'd be able to stay :) That being said, weekend nights tend to be better than weekday nights. Friday, Sunday, and Tuesday would be my preferences, but it sounds like Friday would work out the best for all...

Friday night a very good friend of oddsboy's is coming up for a visit and while we had been laxed and not actually put the callout yet, we were thinking of doing a BBQ since we've got the firepit and it's Autumn and all. That said, the only day we don't actually already have set plans for is Monday. So we're lame no matter what!
