Plagarism

So I just discovered a case of plagarism between two of the books I'm doing research in. One of them completely copies most of a paragraph word for word (it's a list, but still) without changing the order or anything, without the use of quotation marks. The book that's been taken from is credited in the bibliography, but no other indication is given.

Wow.

This is why we use footnotes/end notes, people...

Oh I realized that and I sympathize. I just think it is funny and odd. And so when I hear about plagarism do I go into teacher mode. :)
