I'm done! I'm done I'm done I'm done I'm done I'm done I'm done. I'll post more about the week that was tomorrow, probably, depending on how much I get done today.

I made a strange choice with my last paper, one that will definitely hurt my grade...but I think it's what I needed to do. Instead of writing the paper I was supposed to write, that I said I would write, I wrote a paper that was a bit more free form...I wrote my fare well to history. It just felt right...I hope he doesn't fail me over it, but I don't think he will, probably just give me a B- or a C+. :)

Still, there is something anticlimatic about turning in papers by e-mail. It lacks the visceral satisfaction of tossing a pile of paper onto the stack of everyone else's papers, turning around, releasing a breath in stunned relief that it's over...but even without that feeling, it doesn't change the fact that I'm done.

Only one semester left. :)

Congrats! Good for you!

And turning in papers via e-mail does lack a certain satisfaction.

good work!

I am both relieved and worried that about what will happen to me in only 3 semesters...

best of luck from me to you.

Good luck!! In some ways the "going on" thing is really scary, but in others it's not...like, it brought me here to Bloomington, which has been awesome. :)

I dunno...I think smashing the "Send Button" and going back to bed is very satisfying...I mean, you didn't even have to get out of your jammies to do it. Saves time and stuff

I spotted a typo: it should be

"Only one semester left. :("

But congrats on finishing up this semester! I'm really curious about how your paper turned out. It sounds like a really cool idea.

I can send it over if you're curious. Oh, and if you're not doing anything today, I'll be home all day if you're bored...

I'll see ya as soon as I open the door (since you are already here at the time I'm writing this...)

Ah, except that it was like noon when I hit the send button, and then I had to go to work. So I didn't get to go back to bed. Though....I do believe I was wearing my pajamas at the time. :)

Mad props for writing the paper you *wanted* to write instead of writing the paper that was expected. You might be surprised - that strategy often pays off because papers like that tend to be more interesting and well-written because the writer isn't bored to tears by the whole process.

Here's hopin...but it wasn't a "good" paper in the school sense of things. No foot notes, for one. A lot of the use of the word "I" for another....:) Well, whatever, I'm not a history major any more. ;)
